I wanna know what love is...

I Wanna Know What Love Is - Foreigner

I gotta take a little time
A little time to think things over
I better read between the lines
In case I need it when Im older

Now this mountain I must climb
Feels like a world upon my shoulders
I through the clouds I see love shine
It keeps me warm as life grows colder

In my life theres been heartache and pain
I dont know if I can face it again
Cant stop now, Ive traveled so far
To change this lonely life

I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me

Im gonna take a little time
A little time to look around me
Ive got nowhere left to hide
It looks like love has finally found me

In my life theres been heartache and pain
I dont know if I can face it again
I cant stop now, Ive traveled so far
To change this lonely life

I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me

I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
And I wanna feel, I want to feel what love is
And I know, I know you can show me

Lets talk about love
I wanna know what love is, the love that you feel inside
I want you to show me, and Im feeling so much love
I wanna feel what love is, no, you just cannot hide
I know you can show me, yeah

I wanna know what love is, lets talk about love
I want you to show me, I wanna feel it too
I wanna feel what love is, I want to feel it too
And I know and I know, I know you can show me
Show me love is real, yeah
I wanna know what love is...

Beauty is in The Heart

Beauty begins inside and shines outward, which is why people who turn to extreme methods to appear beautiful on the outside may not find the happiness they seek.
The best way to attract people to you is to be happy with yourself.
Confidence is one of the most attractive traits in a person, and it is something we are all drawn to unconsciously. True confidence comes from knowing and appreciating yourself and knowing that anything you need will come to you. This trust in the Universe allows us to release any desperation we might otherwise feel when meeting someone, freeing us to simply enjoy their company.

God's Blessings!!

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island.
The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agree that they had no other recourse but to pray to God.
However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between themand stay on opposite sides of the island.
The first thing the first man prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man sawa fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained barren.
After a week, the first man was lonelyand he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a womanwho swam to his side of the land.On the other side of the island, there was nothing.
Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.
Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that his wife and he could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship dockedat his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wifeand decided to leave the second man on the island.
He considered the other man unworthyto receive God's blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.
As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from Heaven booming,
"Why are you leaving your companion on the island?"

"My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them,"the first man answered."
His prayers were all unanswered, and so he does not deserve anything."

"You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him."He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not havereceived any of my blessings."

"Tell me," the first man asked the voice,"what did he pray for that I should owe him anything?"

"He prayed that all your prayers be answered."

For all we know, our blessings are not
the fruits of our prayers alone,
but those of another praying for us.

Time for Yourself

glitter-graphics.com
Time alone is a gift.
So often we spend time being with other people—sometimes listening to their needs and problems more than our own. But it is more important to take time out and pay attention to what we really want. Having this kind of quiet in our lives means that we are committed to create space to take care of ourselves.
This is not alienating but rather nurturing ourselves so that we can be a more positive force in the world. Making time to become attuned to your own needs, desires, and hopes will make the time you do spend with others so much more meaningful.

Enjoy your own time!

Deliberate

Do you know
that life is a game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds
and words return to us sooner or later with astounding
accuracy.
Florence Scovel Shinn said that, and she was right. So
before you think, do, or say anything -- imagine what it
would be like to receive what you are sending.

Then, go one step further. Decide ahead of time what
you would like to receive...and then send it. Quite
deliberately. That is, give to, or cause in the life of,
another what you would like to now experience.

Then...watch the magic.

Don't Rush...

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I believe God wants you to know...

that ...

... rushing around to fix everything, or to "get ready,"
is not going to do you more good.

Move resolutely, but don't rush. There's a difference.
Rushing removes resolution, often replacing it with
panic or irrationality or, at best, not well thought-out
choices.

So keep moving. Don't stop. But don't rush. Don't
race around. Sure and steady gets you there every
time.

We are what we think

We are what we think. All that we are, arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make our world.........

Man can live for about forty days with out food and about three days with out water, about eight minutes with out air......but only one second with out hope!

RELAX - Get back to Nature

Get back to nature.
Enjoying a relaxing day out of doors can help you feel more calm and balanced during your normal routine. A mountain hike or day at the beach can be a wonderful stress reducer. If you simply can't get away, try listening to a CD of nature sounds or spending a few minutes in front of a sunny window.
